In many developing countries, land ownership is a complex and often disputed issue. Corruption, legal loopholes, and lack of infrastructure have made it difficult for marginalized communities to secure their land and property rights. A solution is on the horizon. Called the Title App the new open source software solution that uses advanced technology to help people protect their property rights.
The Title App uses distributed ledger technology and artificial intelligence to create a transparent and reliable title system. Distributed ledger technology, also known as blockchain technology, is a decentralized system that records and tracks transactions in a secure and transparent way. This means that all transactions are recorded in a tamper-proof manner and can be accessed by anyone who has permission to do so. This makes it difficult for anyone to manipulate or steal property records.
The app also uses artificial intelligence to constantly monitor all title records, so that owners of the asset can be notified of any attempted changes. This feature helps prevent any unauthorized changes to the title records, ensuring that the asset ownership remains secure.
President Dennis “Bumpy” Kanahele, a Native Hawaiian leader, has been testing The Title App to restore land claims and protect the land rights of marginalized communities in Hawaii. “Technology is instrumental in helping us to secure our ancestral lands and protect our cultural heritage,” says Kanahele. “We are using this distributed ledger system to ensure that we can reclaim our native lands and prevent further theft in the emerging digital domain.”
In Cambodia, government officials are also exploring the use of The Title App to create a new title system for the country. “The current title system is outdated and unreliable,” says a Cambodian government official, who asked not be identified to avoid creating issues within the government that could adversely affect adoption of this new system. “By using blockchain and AI, we can create a more transparent and efficient title system that will benefit all our citizens.”
The Title App is not just an affordable solution for managing assets, but it’s also a game-changer for marginalized communities and developing nations that have struggled to secure their land and property rights. The app’s advanced technology provides a secure and transparent way to track ownership of valuable assets, enabling people to protect their property rights and prevent theft and fraud.
Brandon Maka’awa’awa, Vice President of the Nation of Hawaii believes that the Title App is a reliable and affordable solution for securing property rights. Maka’awa’awa envisions this platform as the cornerstone of promoting economic development, and preventing disputes over land ownership. It’s also an ideal use case of blockchain and AI, the two most important advancements in computing. It appears that these new technologies have found a way to help those who have been passed over by the traditional system.
