At Title App, you can access your account using Single Sign-On (SSO) or a direct account login option powered by Shopify. While these methods provide flexibility, some users may encounter issues, particularly if they initially created their account using an email and username but later attempt to use SSO. This guide will help troubleshoot common login problems and ensure seamless access to your account and wallet.


Signing In to Your Account

Single Sign-On (SSO) Login

On the Title App Website

  1. Click on the Sign In button
  2. Choose the SSO Option (e.g., Google, Apple).
  3. Enter your credentials for the selected SSO provider and complete any verification steps.

On the Mobile App

  • Tap on the Sign In button.
  • Select your SSO provider and log in.
  • Note: If you encounter issues, check that you are using the same SSO provider and email as when you initially created your account.

Direct Account Login (Shopify)

On the Title App Website:

  1. Click on the Sign In button.
  2. Enter your email and password.
  3. Complete the login process.

On the Mobile App:

  1. Tap on the Sign In button.
  2. Use your Shopify account email and password to log in.

Troubleshooting: Wallet Not Visible After SSO Login

Issue: Wallet or account data is missing after using SSO.

This often occurs if the account was initially created using an email and username (direct login) and not linked to the SSO provider. Here’s how to resolve it:

1. Verify Your Account Type

Step 1: Check your email for previous correspondence from Title App. Look for registration emails to identify whether the account was created via Shopify (email and username) or an SSO provider.
Step 2: Attempt to log in with the original method (email/password or SSO).

2. Account Linking Not Supported

  • Important: Title App currently does not support linking accounts created via different methods (e.g., SSO and Shopify direct login).
  • If you created an account using one method, ensure you always log in using that method to access your wallet and data.

3. Recover Access to Your Wallet

Step 1: Ensure you’re logged into the correct account.
Step 2: If the wallet is still missing, contact Title App Support via the Tidio Chat App or email.
Step 3: Provide details about your account creation method, including any associated emails or usernames.

FAQs and Common Issues

1. Can I use SSO and direct login interchangeably?

No. If your account was created with direct login, SSO will not automatically link to it. Always use the login method you used at account creation.

2. Why doesn’t the mobile app show my SSO wallet?

The mobile apps currently have limited SSO integration. Use the website to access full functionality, including wallet visibility.

3. What should I do if I’ve forgotten which login method I used?

  • Search your email for any confirmation messages from Title App.
  • Try logging in with both SSO and direct login options.
  • Contact support voa the Chat App if you’re unsure.

4. Can I switch from direct login to SSO?

No, Title App does not currently support account migration between direct login and SSO. You will need to continue using the original login method.

5. What happens if I create multiple accounts?

Multiple accounts can cause confusion with wallet and data access. Contact support to discuss possible solutions for managing or consolidating accounts.
